Principles of a good human

Anti-fragile > Robust

A robust person is hard to break. They are multifaceted and skilled through hard work and determination. However, they are not impossible to break. When things head south, they crumble and lose their identity like a straight-A student losing their status as a top performer.

Instead, an antifragile person is adaptive and flexible, and as a result, difficult to define within a single category. They don’t shy away from the unexplored and are swift to take on new challenges. Every time you meet them, it seems like they always have something new they are undertaking. It’s not like they grow disinterested quickly, and are the first to jump to the next shiny diamond. Instead they only move on once their objective is complete. Never overcommitting. Never quitting prematurely. Always pivoting on their own watch.

Seemingly, challenges only makes them stronger, wiser, and happier.

Iterative / evolutionary

They iterate quickly with prototypes.

There is no single way to survive in the animal kingdom. Mutations and variants with beneficial traits gets passed on more than others less fortunate.

Human civilization, on another hand, no longer rely on random generational quirks but can evolve on their own terms with tools and language. We evolve no longer on a generational basis, but on a daily basis, learning to be more equipped for the future before dusk.

With shorter time horizon, evolution becomes iteration. Those who are able and willing to iterate quickly tend to know themselves enough to find clarity in who they are, what they want to do, and achieve their goals. Thus reflective habits and malleable mindsets becomes a great asset to achieving their life goals.
