Importance of selling your idea

I vividly recall mentioning that being a designer is 50% working with people. I feel like that was an understatement.

Working in a design team, we constantly need to evolve through innovations. The more innovative, creative, disruptive your proposal becomes, the more convincing is needed for the idea to see the light of day. Without the ability (personal), opportunities (resources), and the environment (culture) to convince stakeholders, proposals can become conservative and almost predictable. That is when a predator becomes prey.
